Special Meeting: BCBSM/BCN Incident-to Billing/Reimbursement policy change effective 9/1/26

IHP will be hosting a special virtual meeting on Tuesday, June 16, at 6:00 p.m. via Zoom to discuss the recently announced Blue Cross Blue Shield and Blue Care Network policy changes related to Incident-To billing and reimbursement.

Given the significant implications of this change for many independent practices, we are inviting physicians, practice owners, and practice managers from affected practices to join us for this important discussion. This meeting is particularly relevant for practices that currently utilize Incident-To billing arrangements for services provided by advanced practice providers or other clinical staff.

The objectives of the meeting are to:

• Provide an overview of the announced policy changes and anticipated implementation timelines
• Share the actions IHP has taken in response to these changes
• Gather feedback regarding the potential operational and financial impact on practices
• Facilitate discussion among practices regarding strategies for navigating the transition
• Address questions and concerns through an open Q&A session
