DESCRIPTION:This event is for IHP members only.\nTarget Audience: The intended audience for the meeting is care managers. Practice managers and billers are encouraged to participate in program update segment of the training. \nTopic: Cultural Awareness and Health Literacy\nObjectives:\n\nPractice motivational interviewing skills to foster and engage patients of various cultures and health literacy levels.\nDiscuss documentation of care management services and related coding guidelines.\nDiscuss the impact of health literacy and how it impacts patients’ health care.\nDiscuss the impact of different cultures and how it impacts patients’ health care.\nReview program updates\, resources\, and data to support patient engagement in care management.\n\n\nThis event will be held at the IHP office. A snack and lunch will be provided.
