Free Event This event is for IHP members only. This event will be held in-person at the IHP office. The Care Management Collaborative meeting will take place from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. followed by a community resource expo, featuring transportation and vendors from 1:15 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Please plan to arrive early to allow for time for parking, to retrieve your morning snack, and to find your seat. A morning snack and lunch will be provided. Primary HPV Testing Through Self-Sampling with Dr. Diane Harper

Please plan to join us on Tuesday February 4th at 7:30am-8:00am or Wednesday February 12th at 12:15pm – 12:45pm to hear Dr. Diane Harper discuss Primary HPV testing through self-sampling. Diane Harper is an internationally known physician-scientist committed to reducing cervical cancer through better prevention, detection, and early treatment research.  She led the global HPV vaccine clinical trials, and is now the senior investigator of the NCI Last Mile Initiative, bringing vaginal self-sampling as the default screen for cervical cancer. Objectives: Recognize how cytology as a screening tool for cervical cancer is outdated Compare the test performance of primary HPV screening to co-testing for cervical cancer screening Collaborate to offer the most efficient cervical cancer screening for average-risk asymptomatic women The intended audience for the meeting is Ob-Gyn specialty and primary care providers; primarily physicians, and APP’s and other clinical staff as appropriate based on topic and interest.
