Diane Harper is an internationally known physician-scientist committed to reducing cervical cancer through better prevention, detection, and early treatment research.  She led the global HPV vaccine clinical trials, and is now the senior investigator of the NCI Last Mile Initiative, bringing vaginal self-sampling as the default screen for cervical cancer. Objectives: Recognize how cytology as a screening tool for cervical cancer is outdated Compare the test performance of primary HPV screening to co-testing for cervical cancer screening Collaborate to offer the most efficient cervical cancer screening for average-risk asymptomatic women The intended audience for the meeting is Ob-Gyn specialty and primary care providers; primarily physicians, and APP’s and other clinical staff as appropriate based on topic and interest. Practice managers and billers are encouraged to participate in program update segment of the training. Review evidence-based guidelines related to HEDIS measures, including Transition of Care (TCM), and review practice level data. Discuss best practices to improve outcomes. Provide an overview of BCBM behavioral health care management program. Identify opportunities to collaborate with PCP practice care managers to improve patient outcomes through a cohesive team.
